The Sing Australia 2009 National Gathering is located at Zone 10, Sir James Mitchell Park, South Perth. Entry is via Coode St (off Mill Point Rd). Please click on the link below if you require a map:

Friday 6 November
Dress: Ladies – brightly coloured shirt (NOT plain), black skirt or black trousers, black shoes; Men – brightly coloured shirt – plain or patterned (not the old uniform shirt) with or without tie, beige trousers, brown shoes, brown belt.
Songbooks: Songbooks 3 and 4 and Songs around the Piano (SATP) Please make sure your name is on the inside cover of your songbooks and also on your songbook bag.
Transport: Buses have been available for those who have pre-paid ONLY.
A Green Luggage Tag will be given to people travelling to the Airport from Sir James Mitchell Park on Sunday. An Orange Luggage Tag will be given to people going on the Sing Australia Tour from Sir James Mitchell Park. These tags will be made available on Friday evening at the function.
4.50pm Those catching the buses from the Perth CBD area must arrive at any of the following pick up points at this time to avoid missing the bus.
5.00pm Buses will pick up from the following points.
Pick up point Perth CBD.
1. Pier Street corner of Hay Street (for people staying at Seasons of Perth, Aarons Hotel, Kings Hotel, Mercure, Miss Maude’s Sweedish Hotel)
2. Mantra on Hay at 201 Hay Street (for people staying at Perth City, Alderney on Hay Apartments)
3. Sheraton Hotel (also for people staying at Goodearth Hotel, Perth Ambassador)
4. Ibis Hotel on Murray Street (also for people staying at Pacific International, Rydges, Holiday Inn City Centre, West End Apartments)
5. Mounts Bay Waters (just under over pass in Coach Bays) ( for people staying at Waldorf, Adelphi Hotel, Sullivans Hotel)
Note: People staying at other places may go to closest pick up point.
5.20pm Those catching the buses from the South Perth Areas must arrive at the Pick up point at this time to avoid missing the bus.

Saturday Morning 7 November
Dress: New uniform (mix of old and new – try to work out the mix between yourselves – we have a lot of newer members from WA who do not have the old uniform)

Transport:
8.20am Those who have paid for buses must be at the pick up points (the same as for Friday). The buses will come as close to this time as possible. Please do not be late. They cannot wait.
8.30am Travel to Fremantle. The route for the buses will be as follows:
Monument Hill Memorial Reserve. Stop for photos. 5 minutes only.
Left into High Street.
Then a quick orientation tour around Fremantle.
Return to High Street
Right into Ord Street /Hampton Road. Right into Fothergill Street.
Drop all passengers at front of Prison.
9.30am Sing at Fremantle Historic Prison.

1. Coach Bay opposite Norfolk Hotel (used that just as a marker)
2. Car Parking area - at end of Street that Esplanade Hotel is in - cnr. Marine Terrace and Cliff St. (near the Old Maritime Museum.) At the end of the Esplanade Park.
3. E.Shed Markets - at allocated coach bay northern end of markets.
Return to Perth and a quick drive through Kings Park with a 10 minute stop for photos. Then return to designated hotel drop off points.
Saturday Evening 7 November
Dress: Mask with fancy dress clothes to match the mask for men and women. Don’t worry if you cannot deck out in a full ensemble. The mask is the key plus smart casual.

Note: Those travelling on the tour and going to the airport will have luggage. This luggage will be identified with a coloured tag. Green for the airport and Orange for the tour. Baggage will be held in the event marquee until event finishes at 1300.
