Recital at Balwyn Evergreen Club
Balwyn Evergreen Club will be celebrating 'Christmas in July' and have invited Camberwell Group to spread a little Christmas atmosphere. We will be about 4 metres from the audience and Brian will be playing on the Piano, we perceive no risk of falling over the cables and a number of our group will be sitting.

A Recital at the Hawthorn Peppercorn Club Senior Citizens
The Camberwell singers are giving a Recital at the Hawthorn Peppercorn Senior Citizens Club. The gig was cancelled for August the 2nd but re-booked for August the 30th. Keyboard cables will be taped up, we will be about 5mtrs from the audience and there is seating for those who cannot stand long. It is a long time ago that we sang in the Library and we look forward to the performance.

A recital at Balwyn Evergreen Club
This event is one of our favourite gigs. We will be singing for the club members after they have had a celebratory lunch. This is the third time this year that we are visiting. We have been invited to join the High Tea with the members after the Concert. There are no perceived obstacles in the room, singers that find it difficult to stand will be provided with a chair.

This is the 2nd visit to 'The Heights'. We have been asked to come back as the first visit was very successful.. We enjoyed singing there with an enthusiastic audience.

Find out more »Sing Australia Camberwell Annual Concert
Sing Australia Camberwell have got a firm date from the St. John's Anglian Church to present their Annual Concert. There will be chairs for every singer, those who are unable to stand long will be seated for the entire concert. Keyboard cables will be taped to the floor. The entrance for the Audience is flat, without stairs. St John's is a large enough space with at least a 5 meter distance between Audience and singers. Sanitiser is available at entry…

Legacy Widows Pilgrimage to the Shrine
About 30 of us will be singing at the Cenotaph, St Kilda Rd. we think this is one of the most important gigs on our yearly Calendar. We will be accompanied by the Army band. It is a solemn service of Remembrance for the families remembering their loved ones fallen in war.

As per usual we will have our Annual Christmas Lunch at George's Restaurant in Burke Rd Camberwell. This is our favourite Italian Restaurant and we will have a delicious meal and perfect service. Wendy usually prepares a musical quiz, I hardly know any of the artists but it is a lot of fun. We also manage to get a few Carols in, usually accompanied by the rest of the clientele in the Restaurant.

Legacy Widows Christmas Concert
This concert is a regular gig in Camberwell's gig Calendar. We will travel into Town to sing on the stage of the Melbourne Town Hall. The gig requires about 80 singers and a number of the singers in other groups in Melbourne are going to assist us reaching this target. We thoroughly enjoy this gig because of the audience and love singing the traditional and more modern Christmas Carols.

This is the first time since Covid that we have been asked to give a Christmas Recital at Lauriston. We have been there many times in the past and enjoyed seeing the residents appreciating our singing. We will be about 4mtrs from the audience and no other perceived risks in space we are performing.

Camberwell group has been invited to give a Christmas Recital at Arcare Lauriston in Carnegie. We have been there many times and not only at Christmas. However, the Christmas Recitals are always special. We sing in the big lounge and it is amazing how people that are not so cognisant will wake up upon hearing the wonderful Carols. We have some favourites amongst our Nursing Home visits and one of those is Hedley Sutton. It helps that 2 of our Choir members live there in independent units. We are invited to their lounge room and we sing from a balcony whilst Residents have their lunch in the garden. The balcony is very safe and keyboard and cables are out of reach in the lounge. Sing Australia Camberwell Social
Camberwell group is going to get together on Saturday 27-1-2024, from 6 to 9pm, for a Social Evening. There will be some music (What Would I do Without my Music), and singing and generally a pleasant re-kindling of the group before we start a new year of singing. Recital in Ardency Kennedy in Richmond
This is a new gig for the Camberwell Group, at Ardency Kennedy, an Independent Retirement Facility in Richmond, Melbourne. We will be singing for 3/4 of an hour and will be treated to a very pleasant morning tea. There are no perceived risks for the singers.

Camberwell group will give a Recital at Highbury Calvary Nursing Home. We will be singing in the spacious dining room, some 4 meters away from the Residents. All singers will be provided with a chair. The Keyboard and cables are off to the side of the room against the wall. So there is minimal risk in this event.
