Singing for 30 minutes as guests arrive for lunch and the formal proceedings. We will be located in the entrance foyer outside the first floor dining room at the top of a staircase and adjacent to the lift. ALLITY WALKERVILLE NURSING HOME GIG
The Mum of one of our regular singer lives at Allity Walkerville. Some twenty singers from Sing Australia Glenelg will perform in the activities room in front of a crowd of about 30 residents. The room is wide and safely equipped. Chairs for the pianist and requiring singers will be provided by the facility. The room is located on the ground floor and is easily accessible. Merchant Navy Day Memorial Service
Annual service to remember and commemorate those who have lost their lives in the Merchant Navy during conflicts. We first sang for this group at the 80th Anniversary of Allied Service in the Pacific in March 2022, and then at the Merchant Navy Day Service last year. The Port Adelaide and Enfield Council now take responsibility for setting up the memorial area, making it easy for us to just arrive, set up our speakers and amplification system under the marquee…

Remembrance Day
We will sing Abide with me and a hymn as well as the National Anthem at the Colonel Light Gardens RSL Sub-Branch. Seating on the verandah will be provided for us to be higher than the ceremony taking place on the lawn in front of the Cross of Remembrance. No perceivable risks

We will supply the music to support singing Hymns and the National Anthem. at the celebration of Remembrance day at RSL Colonel Light Gardens. The event will take place outside of the RSL. No risk for the singers, they will just have their books. We are invited to share the lunch after the ceremony. A ramp is available for people with difficulties.

We have been asked to sing by the Zonta Club of Adelaide Hills at a Womans Expo. The performance will be on a patio area outside the Mitcham Library. No risk issues are evident.

Adelaide Central Market
We will sing again this year at the Central Market in the Grote Street precinct. Although it is a very busy area our singers are very practiced in the setup. All cables will be taped over to prevent tripping hazards.

We will be singing two 30 min brackets in the main concourse. Our PA system will be in use so care will have to be taken to ensure none of our singers get tangled in the cords. These will be taped to the floor. We will have 1 or 2 members not singing to allow interaction with the general public. No other perceived risks

We will be singing in the activities room on the ground floor of the nursing home. There is a grand piano available to us, so the only equipment we need to take is a music stand for Mark our conductor. All bags will be set aside to stop any tripping hazard. No other perceived risks.

We will be singing in the mall in front of Foodland at Brighton. This is an annual event for our group and we will sing again on Thursday 21st. Our performance always draws a big croud, and it has been included on the back of their special's advertisement. No specific risks are evident for this performance.
