Sing Australia Gordon is turning 10 and will be hosting its Back to Gordon Night on Friday 2nd September 2022 at 7:15pm at the Gordon East Public School Hall, corner of Rosedale and Cameron Roads, Gordon East. We invite members of other Sing Australia groups to join us on the night, particularly from the Collaroy and Gosford groups who helped run the workshop 10 years ago. Sing Australia Gordon will be celebrating their 10th birthday at the Epping Club on Saturday 10th September at 6:00pm. Entry fee includes a buffet dinner, initial drinks, singing and dancing, with a DJ providing the music for the night. The theme is "Green and Gold" - the colours of the Gumtree and Wattle. Mrs Hayward’s Christmas Concert 2022
Barbara Hayward will be once again holding her annual end of year Christmas concert for her current and past music students. The Lights of Christmas event will be very different this year. They are planning a “Christmas at the Cathedral” event, with a European-style Christmas market in the plaza adjacent to the St. Mary’s Cathedral steps, with Christmas stalls and choirs each night. We have booked a Sing Australia performance for Friday 16th December at 7:30pm, with Gordon, Collaroy and Ashbury groups joining together for a one-hour performance of Christmas carols. Anzac Day Dawn Service – Roseville Memorial Park
Sing Australia Gordon have been invited once again to lead the singing at The Anzac Day Dawn Service at Roseville Memorial Park this year. The service starts promptly at 5:00am. The usual three songs will be in the service program: Abide With Me (verses 1, 2, 4 and 5), Amazing Grace (verses 1, 2, 3 and 6) and the Australian National Anthem (Advance Australia Fair – both verses 1 and 2). US Army Small Ships Section Commemorative Service
The Gordon group will once again be leading the singing for the annual USA Small Ships Section Commemorative Service in 2023. The service will be held at the Grace Hotel, corner of York and King Sts, Sydney on Sunday 7th May 11:00am. Songs include: Eternal Father Strong to Save (The Navy Hymn), Battle Hymn of the Republic, Star-Spangled Banner (2 verses) and Advance Australia Fair (2 verses). Full uniform is required.

Annual Charity Concert 2023
The Gordon group will be holding their annual Charity Concert on Friday November 10th, 2023, starting at 8pm. The concert will be held in the Gordon East Public School Hall, our regular Friday night location. Funds will be raised this year for StreetWork, a local charity that provides mentorship programs for teenagers who struggle with mental health (often suicidal thoughts and self-harm), alcohol and substance misuse, social isolation, school or work disengagement, youth crime and at risk of youth homelessness.…

Through our contacts at the Archdiocese of Sydney, Sing Australia have been invited to perform at this year's Sydney Street Feast. The Street Feast is run annually and was created in conjunction with, and is sponsored by, the PAYCE Foundation, Paynter Dixon, St Merkorious Charity and Sydney’s Catholic Archdiocese in response to Pope Francis' World Day of Poor. Eighteen of our singers plus five singers from the Gordon Group are presenting a Christmas concert to the residents of Peter Cosgrove House, followed by afternoon tea. We will have chairs to sit on in the little breaks. There is a lift to the first floor of the building, plus stairs for those who would prefer the stairs.
