DESCRIPTION:Through our contacts at the Archdiocese of Sydney\, Sing Australia have been invited to perform at this year’s Sydney Street Feast. The Street Feast is run annually and was created in conjunction with\, and is sponsored by\, the PAYCE Foundation\, Paynter Dixon\, St Merkorious Charity and Sydney’s Catholic Archdiocese in response to Pope Francis’ World Day of Poor. The Feast involves volunteers from many support organisations coming together to feed the homeless and the disadvantaged.\nIt’s to be held on the St. Mary’s Cathedral forecourt on Friday 17th November from 12 noon to 2:00pm. No stage is involved – we will sing on the forecourt\, with chairs to be provided. The location presents no foreseeable risks.\nWe have singers coming together from Gordon\, Ashbury\, Kiama\, Sutherland and St. George. Full uniform is required\, and a hat is recommended. Songs will be well-known songs for singers and for the audience from Books 3\, 4 and 5. There will be two sets of 6 songs each.
