SUMMARY:Celebration of the Arts  "Opening Event"
DESCRIPTION:The opening event takes place on Fri 4th May\, between 5-8pm at the Art House and Community Hub with opening speech at 6.30pm\, by Mayor Simon Brewer. It’s aim is to demonstrate a taste of the activities to be held throughout May. E.g. Arts display and demo\, children’s art\, a series of short performances\, music\, singing and theatrical\, and promote the opportunities to get involved with each. Light supper is provided. Sing Aust Magill will have a time slot being 7pm\, with a duration of 15 mins to cover 5 songs. However it is anticipated that other members will join the audience\, all wearing our uniforms and sing along during our time in the spotlight\, Thereafter\, to mingle and promote.
