We would have an afternoon of singing with afternoon tea provided by Texas members. For the evening a Dinner & Dancing – Theme – 10 years of Sing\, Swing & Bling. Caterers for the Dinner are to be sought so Texas members are able to spend the time with our visitors & a DJ for the dancing. Singing and Dinner Dance to be held in the Texas Memorial Hall – which is where we hold our normal practice days. Sunday morning members & guests are invited to ‘Billy Tea & Smoko’ at Phil & Anne Donges (Texas Members) campgrounds on the Dumaresaq River – ‘Bushland Hideaway on the River.’ Morning tea provided by Texas members. Bushland Hideaway is 40klm from Texas on a bitumen road and all weather road into the camp site. Portra Loo’s and hand washing facility is provided at Bushland Hideaway.Seating will also be available. An opportunity for visitors to see the countryside around the Texas region. We now hope to support the ENTIRE border community.\nThe TADDS Hub has been created to provide a welcoming place for the entire community to help battle mental health issues\, social isolation and loneliness\, access computer and phone assistance\, second-hand clothing and items\, book exchange\, and trading table.’\nSA Texas has been invited to sing at the TADDS Expo. This will be a great opportunity for us to not only entertain the attendees\, but also to share information about our Group to potential new members\, and demonstrate the many health\, connection and well-being benefits that being part of a singing group provides for all ages of the Community. We will be singing a few brackets in between Guest Speakers and we will also have Flyers available with information about Sing Australia\, times\, place & contacts for our Texas Group. We will be singing from Songs Around the Piano Books 3 & 4.
