Celebration of the Arts “Opening Event”

The opening event takes place on Fri 4th May, between 5-8pm at the Art House and Community Hub with opening speech at 6.30pm, by Mayor Simon Brewer. It’s aim is to demonstrate a taste of the activities to be held throughout May. E.g. Arts display and demo, children’s art, a series of short performances, music, singing and theatrical, and promote the opportunities to get involved with each. Light supper is provided. Sing Aust Magill will have a time slot being 7pm, with a duration of 15 mins to cover 5 songs. However it is anticipated that other members will join the audience, all wearing our uniforms and sing along during our time in the spotlight, Thereafter, to mingle and promote.
