Merchant Marine Commemoration

The Australian Merchant Marines and the US Army Small Ships Section are jointly celebrating their role in the South West Pacific during WWII at The Cenotaph in South West Rocks. A high ranking US official may be attending (speculative and confidential at this stage).

We will be singing the hymn Eternal Father Strong to Save, the Australian National Anthem and the USA National Anthem if said US high official shows up. An informal BBQ luncheon will follow at the SWR Country Club.
