A new experience for Tuggeranong SA group to sing in the Dementia Unit of LDK, (Cogan’s Cottage)

Several of our Tuggeranong members have been very keen to sing in the dedicated dementia unit of LDK (Cogan’s Cottage) as they feel it would be of great benefit to the Residents who reside there.
I visited the area on Wednesday and spoke to the Carers who were very positive.
The plan is to have our usual SA practice session and after our tea break, go to Cogan’s Cottage to sing for the last 45 minutes.
We will use Songs around the piano books and encourage Residents to sing along.
