Morning Tea with Mayor Karen Redman

Mayor Karen Redman approached us at the Expo and asked us to sing The Song of Australia at her Morning Tea next Wednesday. I believe most of you will know this, even I have a vague knowledge of it. I have a recording of it by Peter Dawson which we will use to learn the song on Monday night and also use it as a backing track on Wednesday morning.

I also offered our voices to sing quietly during their morning tea but have yet to hear from the organizer, hopefully I’ll have more news on this on Monday night.

If you do know The Song of Australia please practise it over the weekend…………… drive the rest of the family crazy…………..
