(Formally Laura Folk Fair) This annual event has been made into our "Sing Australia Day" event. Singing 2 sets (brackets) of songs including singing the National Anthem at the official opening. Singing on the main stage at 11:15 am for 1/2 hour then at 12:30 pm for another 1/2 hour ***please note times change***

Orroroo Australia Day breakfast
The Orroroo community celebrate Australia Day with a breakfast in the an outdoor picturesque setting at the Orroroo Lions Park. The Jamestown/Orroroo Sing Australia groups have been invited to sing the National Anthem as well as two songs during the program. The Sing Australia groups will also provide some background singing whilst the community members are having breakfast. This performance would be subject to any COVID restrictions that are applicable in South Australia, on the day.

Jamestown Christmas Pageant and Interchurch Service
4 - 4:30pm we have been asked to lead the singing of the Carols/Songs for the service (for the first time) 5.30 we will play Carols/Christmas Songs whilst driving the Morris Ute around the main street of Jamestown

Laura 150 Celebrations
1872 Laura was settled and the town is celebrating being 150 A parade starting in the main street and ending at the Football oval where the official opening takes place We will sing the national anthem with some of the primary school children

Orroroo Australia Day celebrations
Sing Australia Orroroo/Jamestown have been invited to sing as part of the program for the Orroroo Australia Day celebrations and providing background singing whilst community members are eating breakfast. The Orroroo Australia Day celebrations are held at the Orroroo Lions Park, with the Aussie breakfast commencing at 8am. Official program commences at 9am Sing Australia uniform to be worn. Please bring a chair, water bottle, song books, hat, sunscreen and a jacket, dependent on weather.

Sing carols/ songs Perceived risks: Stage blocks (from community school) are used and a small step has been asked for to assist in making it easier to get up either with chairs to hang onto or other members to help - they have fluorescent/bright tape around the edge of the stage We are not the organisers - just participants in this community event
