Tamworth Anzac Service 2024

Leading the service songs from the balcony of the grand old town hall as our group did last year. Music supplied by Tamworth RSL band located downstairs on the stage. One hymn is not in our Anzac song book so special permission is sought to sing I Vow to Thee my Country, words provided in service sheet. We will also sing The Recessional and Advance Australia Fair (2 verses).
Perceived risks: staircase to balcony. Risk removed as less mobile singers are not attending. Crowds and busy traffic area around town hall on Anzac Day- risk reduced by less confident drivers travelling with others and singers given generous time allowances and suggestions for parking.
