Sing Australia National Gathering – 6 to 8 October 2023
We are very proud and excited to announce that the 2023 National Gathering Canberra, 6, 7 and 8 October is confirmed.
We exceeded our required minimum numbers by today. The venues have now been confirmed and you are free to make your transport and accommodation arrangements.
We suggest you do this as soon as possible. A good idea to take out travel insurance as well. Please read the following instructions very carefully:- We must make it very clear that the deposits are now non-refundable. We also want to make it very clear that members may still register and pay the deposit of $100 until 31 March (next Friday).
Having reached beyond our minimum number we are able to take more bookings. Just as a reminder it is so important that you register on our website www.singaustralia.com.au click on Member info and then click on Tours and Events.
Itinerary:
Friday 6 October
Opening night of National Gathering.
Time: 6.30pm for 7.00pm. We will start right on 7pm.
Venue: The Royal Theatre, Canberra Convention Centre,
Saturday 7 October
Singing at Floriade
Time: Arrive at 9.30am. Stand at one side of Stage 88 and wait for instructions.
Performance starts at 10.30 and runs to 11.15
Venue: Stage 88, Commonwealth Park
Saturday 7 October
Gala Evening at Parliament House
Time: 6.30pm for 7pm to 10.30pm.
Venue: Great Hall Parliament House
Sunday 8 October
A time for inspiration and looking forward
Time of arrival at the Theatre: 9am to 9.15am Start time of the program: 9.30am sharp.
Dress: Sing Australia uniform. it will make a great photo for us to be in uniform in this
special venue
Venue: Canberra Playhouse Theatre.
