Funnily enough this is a big event. The local cafe owner has been campaigning for a toilet and shower facility to be erected since 1984! He has wanted this not only to be there for his customers, but also for the patrons of the surf school and for use by the schoolchildren who are sent as part of their studies to learn Watersports.
