Tamworth Community Centre

This is our 5th collaboration for the Smith Family Learning for Life Program Fundraiser for which we've helped to raise lots of $ over the years.  The first of these afternoons was our first real gig on our own after forming our group in Tamworth and each year it has been a good "check in" with the community to showcase what we do.  Numbers are looking good but we always need more.  Please arrive at the Tamworth Community Centre by…

The organizing  group raises funds for palliative care in Tamworth. The concert is to raise funds for the Palliative Care Unit at Tamworth Base Hospital. Sing Australia will provide one of several performances in the event.

This annual event recognises the contributions of volunteer organisations throughout the Tamworth district during the year.  We will open the ceremony with the National Anthem and entertain the audience with 4 songs after the formalities.  Refreshments provided after.  Wear Sing Australian uniform or white collared shirt and black pants/skirt, bring green songbook 4 and Christmas songbook 2.

Arrive at the Community Centre by 10.151m for a 10.30am start; we will sing at approx. 11am.  Bring SatP 1&4, green songbook 4 and Christmas songbook 1.  Wear Sing Australia uniform or black and white, refreshments after.

Providing entertainment and inviting group members to join a sing-a-long, using our group's community song books. Singers will spread themselves between tables and encourage member participation during this fund-raiser. Always a popular gig with this Support Group

This year our afternoon of entertainment will have a Rock and Roll theme. Singers have been encouraged to wear black pedal-pushers or black circle skirt relevant to the 60s and teemed with our regulations shirts and scarves. Songs in our repertoire will all have a 60s flavour and be accompanied by some Rock and Roll 'moves'.
